KTM 390 Adventure Launched In Nepal At Rs 9.99 Lakhs

KTM Nepal has launched the KTM 390 Adventure, one of the most anticipated adventure motorcycles in 2020, in the Nepalese market at a mouth-watering introductory price tag of Rs 9.99 lakhs. The entry-level tourer is KTM's first off-road-oriented motorcycle in Nepal.The KTM 390 Adventure is quite a looker with styling genes inspired by its elder sibling, the 790 Adventure. It gets a chassis-mounted pincer-type LED headlight unit, LED tail-lights, a TFT console, sharp tank shrouds, raised handlebars, a large and flat seat, and a generous 14.5-litre fuel tank.The 390 Adventure is quintessentially an off-road version of the 390 Duke, but catered more towards touring and light offroading. It uses the same 373.2cc single-cylinder engine which makes 44hp of power at 9000rpm and 37 Nm at 7000rpm. The 390 Adventure’s engine also gets features such as ride-by-wire EFI, cornering ABS, Quickshifter+  for smooth clutchless up and downshifting, traction control, and a counterbalancer. This engine has been tuned to meet Euro 5/BS6 emission regulations.In addition to a trellis frame and subframe, the KTM 390 Adventure gets a die-cast open-lattice swingarm carried forward from the 790 and big V-twin KTM ADV motorcycles. In terms of suspension, the 390 Adventure gets WP Apex units at both ends - a 43mm USD fork with compression and rebound adjustability and a rear mono-shock that can be adjusted for pre-load and rebound. This setup also offers more travel -170mm/177mm (front/rear) compared to the 142mm/150mm available on the naked 390. The 390 Adventure gets off-road-ready cast-aluminium wheels with dual-purpose Metzeler rubbers in a 19-/17-inch setup.The KTM 390 Adventure competes with the BMW G 310 GS.
